It was decided to close the sanatorium “Kerch” in Crimea. The online media “Argumenty nedeli – Kerch” (“Arguments of the week – Kerch”) informs about that as quoted by the Crimean “Ministry” of Health.
Thus, according to the media, the decision of closing was made in mid-February but employees were informed about staff reductions only at the end of last week.
“A staff meeting was held and we were told that there was an order to bring into conformity with bed capacity. All employees working directly with children: nurses, charge nurses, teachers – should be reduced all without exception,” the nurse Lyudmila Koshcheeva said.
The employees were not shown the order of the Ministry of Health itself while being forced to sign for notice of termination of employment agreements that the staff of the sanatorium haven’t made at all.
In the opinion of employees of this recreational institution, such actions of the department are not fair, since as far back as last summer the Crimean authorities promised to allocate money for the equipment of isolation wards, due to lack of which the sanatorium was temporarily closed by Roscomnadzor.
However, in spite of promises, the sanatorium “Kerch” has never got the money, whereas the empty beds became a formal reason to close the TB health-center.
