1.1 million tourists visited Crimea since the start of the year. The “chairman” of the “State Council committee on sanatorium-resort complex and tourism” Aleksey Chernyak informed about that, Krym Media reports.
According to him, the peninsula is ahead of the expected results for the tourist flow. “The South Coast provides large figures, the West and East Coasts are already filled,” Chernyak said at the event.
The “Minister” of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea Sergey Strelbitskiy said that health-resort facilities of Crimea are filled by 10% more than last year.
The so-called Prime Minister of Crimea Sergey Aksenov predicted up to 5 million tourists on the peninsula this summer.
