So called Crimean authorities created the pro-Russian Crimean Tatar TV channel instead of the ATR channel closed in the peninsula. It is published on the Crimean “government” website.
“The autonomous non-commercial organization “Public Crimean Tatar TV and Radio Company” was created in the Republic of Crimea. This decision was adopted at the meeting of the Government of Crimea,” the message says.
The “State Committee” on interethnic relations and deported citizens of the Republic of Crimea was appointed the founder of the TV channel.
