Five residents of Sevastopol were tried in absentia for organizing terrorist attacks in Crimea. Hromadske radio informs about that.
Convicted persons are football fans of the club “Sevastopol” and left the peninsula before the court proceedings started. “Convicts” themselves are sure that they got a prison term for their patriotism.
“I left Crimea because I was a football fan. They mostly came to my mother’s home. The FSB asked, where I was, who I was, whether I was at war or not, what I did in Ukraine. But recently, before May 9, they came to conduct a full search of our house. The next day there was a trial, where I was sentenced to 15 years in prison for organizing terrorist attacks in absentia,” the young man told in conversation with the ChTRK (Chernomorskaya TV and Radio Company).
