In September it is planned to launch the broadcasting of the state Crimean Tatar TV channel “Millet”. The press service of the “State Committee” for International Relations and Deported Citizens of Crimea informs about that.
According to the press service, now the TV channel is prepared for registration in accordance with the Russian law. The premise of 600 square meters in the center of Simferopol was allocated to accommodate the TV channel and the state Crimean Tatar radio station “Vetan”.
Also they select the personnel. It is expected that the head of the Crimean Tatar and national program department of the TV channel “Pervuy Krymskiy” Seyran Mambetov, who will be engaged in the personnel selection, will lead the TV channel.
As a reminder, the first Crimean Tatar TV channel ATR was closed in the night of April 1.The Russian authorities explained the closure of the channel by improperly prepared documents.
