The Russian Supreme Court refused to abolish the law on nationalization of property in annexed Crimea and legitimated it. Radio Liberty informs about that.
Earlier the Russian party “Yabloko” filed a lawsuit in court against the law “On peculiarities of redemption of property in the Republic of Crimea”. This document defines the mechanism of redemption of property that belongs to individuals or legal entities for the needs of Crimea, redemption of property is conducted without the owner’s consent.
The court supported the position of the representative of “Crimean authorities” and dismissed the indictment.
