A meeting of the movement “Let’s defend Sevastopol” was held in Sevastopol, the activists made claims against the city government. Krym.Realii informs about that.
Officials were accused of the non-fulfilment of obligations to improve the city and non-cooperation with Sevastopol citizens “directly”.
Law enforcement officers prohibited to arrange the meeting despite the fact that it had been agreed with the Sevastopol government. Also loud music began to sound in the heart of the city an hour before the meeting.
In spite of these facts, the meeting was held. Activists demanded the Sevastopol governor Sergey Menyailo to report on budget to the citizens, and in case of disagreement they demanded “to answer to the people” – the resignation.
