The foreign trade turnover of Sevastopol decreased almost by 5 times compared with pre-occupation period.
The ‘director’ of the Department of Economics of the city government Elimdar Akhtemov reported about that, Primechaniya informs.
“We compared the figures with January-July of 2013. At that moment, the foreign trade turnover amounted to 103 million dollars, and in January-August of 2013 – 120 million dollars. Now we have 26.1 million dollars,” he said.
Local “authorities” hope to improve the situation due to the resumption of trade with Turkey, from where the first ferry has already brought citrus, household appliances and construction materials.
