Emergency services and municipal enterprises of the Crimean capital were put in the high alert regime in connection with the possible cessation of electricity supply from the mainland Ukraine to Crimea. The press service of the Simferopol “administration” informs about that.
The city vital infrastructure facilities are equipped with backup independent power supply sources (diesel generators) in the case of emergency power cutoff.
City “authorities” ask the residents of the Crimean capital to show understanding of the current situation.
According to Krym Media, the electricity supply was cut off at 16.00 in the area of Moskoltso.
