In Crimea prices increased by 57.3% within a year

цены на продуктыPrices increased by 57.3% in Crimea since the annexation. The newspaper Segodnya informs about that referring to the data of the Crimean Federal Service of State Statistics (Krymstat).

Groceries and soft drinks increased in price the most – by 72.8%. In particular, prices increased a lot for bread (by 52.6%), beef (96%), eggs (88.4%), pork (77.9%), and macaroni  products (56.5%).

Also the cost of alcohol (by 86.6%) and cigarettes (by 47.8%) increased.

According to Krymstat, at the present a kilo of beef costs from 300 rubles up to 340 rubles (120 – 140 hryvnyas). Pork tenderloin costs from 340 up to 400 rubles for a kilo (140 – 160 hryvnyas). Tenner of eggs costs not less than 60 rubles (24 hryvnyas). Wiener sausages are offered for 260 – 300 rubles for a kilo (105 – 120 hryvnyas).
