The Crimean “authorities” are going to deal with the price raises for groceries and medication by means of government regulations of prices on the federal level. “The head” of Crimea Sergey Aksenov informed about that at a briefing meeting.
“The Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation conducted a meeting, where this issue was also referred to. Actions are discussed and most likely the question of government regulations of prices for foodstuff and pharmaceuticals will be solved. From our side, we have been dealing with this issue for a long time in Crimea, but we had lacked authorities in the context of legislative level. We think that the federal level will let us solve this issue,” Aksenov announced.
As a reminder, when inspections were held, “the General Prosecutor Office” of Crimea has discovered facts of overpricing of socially important goods, on which maximum allowable raises had been established.
