The head of the delegation of French parliamentarians, who arrived in Crimea, Thierry Mariani said that they didn’t have mobile communication on the peninsula. Mariani said that to the journalists in Simferopol, the media 15 minutes reports.
“Our mobile phones don’t operate here, because European companies refuse to sign an agreement and work in this region. Available information about Crimea is fragmented in Europe. The goal of our trip is to talk with the people and authorities in Crimea,” the parliamentarian said.
As a reminder, the French parliamentary delegation headed by the co-chairman of the Franco-Russian Dialogue Association, National Assembly deputy Thierry Mariani stays on a visit to Crimea. The head of the delegation noted that it was the personal initiative of parliamentarians, but not the official position of the French government.
The French authorities called the trip of the group of parliamentarians from their country to Crimea the violation of international law.
