Crimean fishery enterprises are forced to use unusual working schemes at their facilities due to a lack of money. The newspaper Svezhaya gazeta informs about that.
The reason of that is the non-payment of compensation for a lack of water in the North-Crimean channel to farmers.
“Due to the fact that fisheries haven’t been included into the list of business entities, which were compensated for losses caused by a lack of water in the North-Crimean channel, they and other fishery enterprises didn’t get any compensation,” the head of the State Committee for Fisheries of Crimea Andrey Dedyukhin informed about that.
According to him, it is referred to enterprises in the Krasnoperekopsk and Rozdolne raions.
To avoid the territory being out of action, desiccated ponds will be used as land parcels to plant corns, melons and gourds.
