The “DNR” opposes deployment of peacemakers along the contact line and on the Russian-Ukrainian border. The “vice-chairman of the DNR” Pushilin informed RIA News about that.
On February 18, 2015 it was decided to apply to the UNO and the EU with request about deployment of a peace-support mission along the contact line with the “DNR/LNR” and on the section of the Russian-Ukrainian boarder, which isn’t controlled by Ukraine, at the NSDC meeting.
Pushilin noted that invitation of the peacemakers is a violation of the Minsk agreements, this is why “the authorities” of the DNR “extremely disapprove” it.
“The NSDC represented by (the secretary Aleksandr) Turchnov specified that it is intended to invite the peacemakers to the Russia-Ukrainian border in the Donbass sector. This is a virtual violation of the package of measures to implement the Minsk agreements. Thereafter, we extremely disapprove it, moreover, we intended to appeal to the heads of the states, which acted as guarantors of the fulfillment of the Ukrainian obligations,” Pushilin said.
