Passengers of the Simferopol-Moscow flight that was supposed to depart on the night of July 26 noted fire in the airliner’s tail section, when they were taken for boarding.
According to eyewitnesses, a fire-brigade arrived to the airplane and handled a fire at the incipient stage.
Passengers were offered to take their seats in the airplane after a three-hour delay. However, about 30 people refused to have a fly in the “fried airplane”, as they said, and demanded to provide them with another airplane. In the words of those who refused, the airline company refused to meet their requirements. People had to buy tickets at their own expense.
