Difficulties with crossing the administrative boarder between mainland Ukraine and Crimea appeared as on April 29. KrymSOS informs about that.
In the morning of April 29, there were approximately 200 cars at the checkpoint “Chongar”, the length of the queue was about 3.5 km.
In general, crossing of the “border” (of two checkpoints) takes 4.5 hours (3 hours to cross the Ukrainian checkpoint and 1.5 – to cross the Russian one).
Reports of our readers say that all together 8 hours have been spent for crossing the two checkpoints.
The large number of people willing to come to Crimea from mainland Ukraine is caused by the coming May holidays.
