The chairman of the Committee on Culture and Cultural Heritage of the “State Council” of Crimea Svetlana Savchenko called to respect the St. George ribbons. She announced that during the press conference in Simferopol.
“There is no need to string the St. George ribbon on the jeans hip pocket. Sometimes we let patriotism get as far as making a string out of it (out of the St. George ribbon – editor’s note). Don’t make strings!” the “deputy” asked.
According to Savchenko, the St. George ribbons should not be thrown away, they should only be burned.
The “deputy” is going to give a lesson on how to wear the St. George ribbon correctly for pupils of Simferopol on May 6th.
As a reminder, the St. George ribbons dispensation initiative devoted to the Victory Day started in Crimea.
