A new technology from Nizhny Novgorod will be used for reconstruction of roads in Sevastopol. The “director” of the state public institution (SPI) “Municipal Services and Facilities Application Directorate” Ilya Samerin informed journalists about that.
“Last week we initiated active patching road repairs in Sevastopol. The Sevastopol Federal Road Agency of Russia (Rosavtodor) conducts it using a classical approach. Besides that, equipment that initiates repairs using the pneumo-application technology has been delivered to Sevastopol from Nizhny Novgorod,” Samerin said. According to the information of the official, this technology enables to accelerate the patching road repairs significantly.
According to Samerin, patching road repairs of 50 streets and directions amounting to 5 million RUR were planned to be conducted in Sevastopol.
“It is planned to overhaul about 7 streets. We require over 550 – 600 million rubles from the city budget according to the project documentation that was prepared last year. We were promised only 305 million so far,” the official added, having noted that “last year we couldn’t assimilate 150 million rubles through the Federal Road Agency for the problematic facilities.” According to his words, these facilities should be finished in the present year.
As a reminder, on March 29, automobilists of Sevastopol went to a meeting protesting against the critical condition of roads in the city.
