The national Turkic holiday of fertility Hidirllez gathered about 35 – 40 thousand people this year. The “vice prime minister” of Crimea Ruslan Balbek announced that, the press-service of the Crimean “government” reports.
“Unprecedented number of people gathered for the holiday Hidirellez already now. There are 35 – 40 thousand people at the present and people keep on coming,” he emphasized.
The Turkic national holiday Hidirellez that symbolizes arrival of summer and hope for good crops took place in the culture and entertainment center “Shahrazad” (located on the 25th kilometer of the Simferopol – Bakhchisaray highway, the Bakhchisaray district) on March 3, 2015.
For the first time in the history of Hindirellez celebration representatives of all Crimean nationalities and as well as republics of the Russian Federation participate in it.
In connection to the celebration of the holiday, the speed rate is limited on the Simferopol-Bakhchisaray-Sevastopol highway.
As we reported prior, the decision not to participate at the events on the occasion of Crimean Tatar national holiday Hindirellez held by the present authorities of Crimea was adopted during the meeting of the Bakhchisaray regional Mejlis on April 18.
