Ukrainian dairy products will be more expensive in Crimea

молокоRosselkhoznadzor (Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance) introduced new rules for suppliers of livestock products from Ukraine in order to increase the competitiveness of the Russian ones in the market. LIGA informs about that.

Starting from April 6, each lot of Ukrainian dairy products will be subject to verification performed by the Federal Centre for Animal Health. The costs of these analyzes will lead to increasing prices by 25-30%, and with that products from mainland Ukraine will cost as much as the Russian ones in Crimea.     

At the end of March, Ukrainian milk sellers received letters with new rules from Rosselkhoznadzor.
