Ukraine continues to maintain deliveries of products in the occupied peninsula. The newspaper Segodnya reports about that with reference to the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance.

Thus, only within the first two weeks of 2015, 3618 tons of products of vegetable and animal origin have been brought from the mainland to the territory of Crimea.

According to the Russian Service, the main part of deliveries is presented by meat, dairy products, live poultry and eggs.

The volume of deliveries rapidly increased within the last few days: within the last week 6458 tons of products have been delivered from the mainland to the peninsula.

As a reminder, the appropriate Russian services repeatedly limited or forbid import of certain kinds of Ukrainian production in Crimea.  However, the Crimean authorities admitted that Ukrainian food supplies were vital for Crimea. In the beginning of 2015, eyewitnesses noticed rapid reduction of trucks with products on the administrative boarder with Crimea.
