Professors of the Crimean Engineering-Pedagogical University voiced support to the Crimean students detained for attempted shooting of the video message to support the ATR TV-channel. The media website Sobytiya Kryma informs about that.
The head of university Fevzi Yakubov said that both he personally and many university professors supported the ATR TV-channel as well as the detained students.
“There will be no rhetoric and persecution – we have no legal grounds, no authority and no wish,” Yakubov said.
As a reminder, one of the activists Aleksey Efremov was imposed a fine for attempted shooting of the video to support ATR.
