Simferopol gymnasium retains Ukrainian traditions

пасха гимназияThe Simferopol Ukrainian gymnasium celebrates Eastern following Ukrainian traditions. Crimean journalist Oleksandr Polchenko informed about that on his page in Facebook.

Thus, pupils of the 9th form were taught to bake Easter cakes on Holy Thursday, the master class of Easter eggs painting was held. Pupils of the third form performed “Easter Roly-Poly” sketch.

“I continue the tour through the former Ukrainian gymnasium. The second Ukrainian form gladdened by embroidered shirts and Eastern verselet and also by a Ukrainian ritual song haivka and painted Easter eggs. I wonder, would parents bring these children to already the third Ukrainian form next year? Children are like flowers! The teacher tries to retain the national traditions,” Polchnko wrote.
