FSB banned entry to Crimea for three Crimean Tatars for 5 years

фсбThree Crimean Tatars received a notification prohibiting the entry into the territory of the Russian Federation for a period of 5 years in person while being at the administrative border with occupied Crimea. The Adviser to the Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Emine Dzheppar wrote about that on her Facebook page.

According to the Adviser, the entry was prohibited for two brothers Rustem Gugurik (born in 1971) and Bekir Gugurik (born in 1962) as well as Bilyal Seitumerov.

“On March 18, Rustem and Bekir were given a “document” – the notification for a foreign citizen or a stateless person, by which … according to the decision of the FSB of the Russian Federation, they are prohibited from entering Crimea until 1/1/2021. Otherwise, they will be imposed liability under the Art.322 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation,” Dzheppar wrote.

In Crimea, it is offered to persecute religious preachers who studied abroad 

проповедникThe secretary of the Russian Federation Security Council Nikolai Patrushev called to deal with religious preachers, who have been educated abroad and can spread radical ideas among the masses. He announced that at the visiting meeting at the Livadia Palace, Kryminform reports.

According to Patrushev, it is necessary “to prevent the involvement of persons, who received religious education abroad, into the illegal activity, including the activity as the preachers of radical ideas”, under conditions of an unstable socio-political situation on the peninsula.

On March 21, the secretary of the Russian Federation Security Council Nikolai Patrushev together with the presidential plenipotentiary representative in the “Crimean Federal District” Oleg Belaventsev held a visiting meeting to discuss measures to prevent threats to national security of Russia in Crimea.
