The Kerch ferry line continues to achieve records in carrying passengers and transport. The Crimean “minister” of transport Andriy Bezsalov announced that at the meeting of the Crimean “Council of Ministers”.
“35,603 passengers and 11,586 vehicles were carried through the strait within 24 hours. There are 12 ferries operating on the line and another 3 ferries kept in reserve. The queue time for people, who bought tickets on the ferry line, is up to five hours, and for those, who bought a ticket by using the electronic queuing system – two hours. Up to 60 trips are made during the day,” Bezsalov said.
As a reminder, the previous record was set at the ferry line on July 12, when 28 thousand passengers and 7 thousand cars were transported in both directions.
