Starting from today, July 3, the fare for intercity transport owned by the Krymavtotrans company will be tripled. The press service of the SUE “Krymavtotrans” informs about that.
The fare increase is coming from concluding a new agreement between the “State Committee on prices and tariffs of the Republic of Crimea”, the Crimean “Ministry” of Transport and the Association of Road Carriers, according to which the carriers can raise tariff for intercity bus services up to 1.4 rubles (0.76 kopecks) per one passenger-km starting from July 1.
It is planned to restate and change tariffs by July 3.
At the same time, carriers are required to fulfill the obligations to carry passengers entitled to benefits, renew the transportation fleet by not less than 10% and increase salaries of drivers.
The agreement will be valid for 6 months.
