маршрутка карикатураIn Crimea, travel fees for passengers of the suburban, inter-city, and inter-subjective traffic will become more expensive from April. The “head” of the transport rate-regulation department of the committee on prices and tariffs of Crimea Galina Polyakova informed about that, the Center for Investigative Reporting reports.

According to her, the increase in cost will affect enterprises that work through the bus stations of ES “Krymavtotrans”.

“Bus stations act in the legislative field of the Russian Federation, and many charges that they added while selling tickets in the past are forbidden now. Correspondently, there is only the “naked” tariff for development of the enterprise, the progress payment is very low,” Polyakova said. “Tariffs for the inter-city and inter-subjective traffic was reconsidered and amounted 1.2 RUR per 1 km for the inter-city and 1.3 RUR for inter-subjective traffic and it is already including the value added tax.”

It was also decided to impose two tariffs for enterprises dealing with the sub-urban traffic.

“We came to a conclusion that there will be two tariffs now, because enterprises that didn’t perform their activity through the bus stations agreed that they didn’t have to include increase of the cost,” Polyakova said.

Consequently, tariff of enterprises that do not cooperate with the bus stations amounts 1.05 RUR passenger-kilometer, and tariff of the enterprises that  made a contract with “Krymavtotrans” – 1.1 RUR per kilometer.
