The Ukrainian activist, Crimean Leonid Kuzmin received the warning on the impermissibility of holding any events on the Constitution Day of Ukraine from the Russian prosecutor’s office of Crimea. Kuzmin told about that the online media Krym.Realii.
The document states that “according to available information of the Simferopol prosecutor’s office, protest actions arranged to coincide with the Crimean Tatar Flag Day and the Constitution Day of Ukraine are prepared in Crimea.”
“Some radical Crimean Tatar and pro-Ukrainian activists are planning to provoke the Crimean police to use the force by means of placing the Ukrainian symbols in towns and villages and chanting slogans “Glory to Ukraine – Glory to the heroes” near the buildings of state government bodies of the republic,” the document says.
The deputy prosecutor of the city Zobkov informed Leonid Kuzmin that holding public events without the approval from the authorities would be illegal.
