The Crimean Tatar has been detained in the Simferopolsky district, and the mass media representative – in Armyansk. Emil Kurbedinov, the member of the Contact Group on Human Rights, wrote about that on his Facebook page.
“Today, on June 11, the family of Lenur S. from the village Molodezhnoe of the Simferopolsky district was searched. The grounds and legality of these actions) are still being defined. Nothing forbidden has been found,” the human rights defender wrote.
He added that Lenur S. “is known as the person, who built a mosque in this village from year to year”.
In addition, Kurbedinov said that the mass media female employee has been detained at the checkpoint “Armyansk”.
“Russian border guards and customs officers dismantled the car of the girl, didn’t clarify the things that happened, held her for several hours. Now the girl is going to Simferopol, the dismantled car was left on the border,” the human rights defender wrote.
