The FSB of Russia made a search of the house of the Ukrainian activist Vladimir Baluh from the Razdolnenskiy region of Crimea. The chairman of the Crimean organization of the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists (KUN) Vasiliy Ovcharuk informed about that, KrymSOS reports.
According to Ovcharuk, law enforcement officers searched the house of the 44-years-old Baluh, where he lived with parents, and, among other things, took his passport. Baluh himself was absent during the search. When Baluh learned about the search and a criminal case that was initiated against him, he turned off his phone and decided to escape.
“Vladimir hung out the Ukrainian flag on his house. Always. It was torn down. He even came to Kiev, I gave him another flag and he hung it out again,” Ovcharuk said.
As a reminder, Vladimir Baluh ran for a seat in the Verkhovna Rada of Crimea as a KUN candidate in 2006 and 2010.
