There are more than 700 vacancies of doctors in public health facilities in Crimea. The director of the State public institution of Crimea “Employment center” Sergey Brodovskiy said that at the “round table” dedicated to the work organization problems of the Bureau for medical and social expertise, Krym Media informs.
According to him, doctors don’t want to work in health care facilities because of low salaries, which range from 8.8 to 17.2 thousand rubles (from 3500 to 6800 hryvnyas at the exchange rate of the NBU – editor’s note). At the same time, health insurance companies offer doctors the salary in the amount of starting from 35 thousand rubles (14000 hryvnyas).
“It is clear that all good specialists will move to the insurance companies. And this problem will be with all doctors in all regions of Crimea, and the situation is even more catastrophic in rural regions,” Brodovskiy said.
In his opinion, the best solution is to return to the system of state appointments of medical school graduates.
As a reminder, the Dzhankoy central district hospital lacks doctors.
