солнечная электроCrimean solar power stations will pass into the ownership of Russian state banks because of debts. The newspaper Kommersant informed about that.

Crimean solar power plants already don’t have Ukrainian feed-in tariffs, so they couldn’t repay loans for €800 million taken out in the Russian state banks.

Stations with a capacity exceeding 200 MW, which were previously controlled by the Austrian company Activ Solar that has built 407.2 MW SPS in the peninsula, pass into the public ownership of Russia.

Loans for these projects have been provided by Sberbank, VTB groups, VEB (Vnesheconombank), their subsidiaries and Oschadbank of Ukraine as well.
