Most of Crimean educational institutions can’t obtain licenses because of a lack of technical (cadastral) certificates. The “head of department for supervision and control in the sphere of education of the Ministry for Education and Science” of Crimea Valentina Boyko informed about that, the news agency KrymMedia reports.
Boyko explained that schools, colleges and other educational institutions have to obtain title certificates to buildings and land in order the licenses to be issued. In order to get that done, it is needed to submit a Ukrainian certificate of title and technical passport to the State Committee for State Registration and Cadastre, but the large majority of educational institutions don’t have the last mentioned document.
In particular, according to Boyko, only 6 out of 100 schools in Simferopol region have the technical passport. Making this kind of document comes at a very high cost for schools and colleges, only the Simferopol region requires about 5 million rubles for that.
As a reminder, according to the “new legislation”, Crimean schools and universities have to obtain licenses and accreditation to September 1, 2016.
