It is planned to produce up to one million cubic meters of gas daily in the Povorotnoe gas condensate field in the Leninsky district of Crimea. The press-service of the Crimean enterprise SUE “Chernomorneftegaz” informs about that.
The state unitary enterprises “Krymgeologiya” and “Chernomorneftegaz”, which signed the agreement on joint activities, will be engaged in the field development.
In particular, “Chernomorneftegaz” will allocate material and technical resources and provide the financial component at the expense of own and raised funds. The employees of “Krymgeologiya” will provide the enterprise with research results.
It is planned to use the fuel material for operation of a new power plant with capacity of 100 MW.
“Chernomorneftegaz” was nationalized by the Crimean “authorities” on March 17, 2014.
