The deputies from the deputy group “Udar” of the faction “Petro Poroshenko bloc” intend to introduce a bill on economic sanctions against Russia that will concern Crimea. The deputy chairman of the Verkhovnaya Rada Committee on economic policy Yuriy Solovey announced about that at the press-conference.
“We think that except the crucial import such as natural gas and water, which should be supplied to Crimea at the free market prices, any other goods should not be supplied to Crimea.
Solovey added that the Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians agree with such decision.
“When I visited the Kherson region, the Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians in consistence of 15 people, who actually came up with such initiative, have come at the meeting with me in Genichensk. They said that if Ukraine does not make such moves in the near future, then they will block the road themselves towards prevention of export of goods from Ukraine.”
