In January-September of 2016, the volume of imports in Crimea decreased by 1.8 times compared to the same period last year.
The “Crimean customs office” provided this data.
In particular, the total volume of imports in Crimea amounted to $48.8 million in the first nine months of this year, and in the same period in 2015 – $88.7 million.
The main importers in 2016 were Italy ($6.7 million) and Switzerland ($6 million), Armenia (($4.7 million) and Kazakhstan ($2 million).
In 2015, Ukraine, where Crimea received products in the amount of $40.9 million from, was a main trading partner of the peninsula.
