More than half of all arrivals to Crimea in January-August of 2016 are the Russian people.

It is noted that a number of arrivals to the peninsula amounted to 25 thousand people and departures – 16.6 thousand people for the first eight months of 2016.
The majority of migrants arrived to the Republic of Crimea in January-August 2016 are from the regions of Russia – 57.8%, from CIS countries – 37.3% and 4.9% – from other foreign countries.
95.2% of those who left Crimea went to the regions of Russia, 4.3% – to CIS countries and 0.5% – to other foreign countries.
