The decree on liquidation of the Ministry of Crimean Affairs will be signed on July 13. TASS got this information from a source in the Crimean “Council of Ministers”.
“July 13 is specified as the most probable date for the signing of the presidential decree,” he said.
The information about the possible liquidation of the Ministry of Crimean Affairs was also confirmed by the Federation Council.
“Of course, we were interested in the delegation of some federal powers to the local level in Crimea, but it didn’t happen. The possibility that funding of some federal programs will be frozen due to the delegation of functions of the Ministry of Crimean Affairs to another department gives causes for the biggest concern,” the source in the Federation Council said.
The Ministry of Crimean Affairs was created with the aim to ensure the integration of Crimea into the Russian legal and economic space.
