Embankment of the Salgir River in Simferopol is in disrepair while being unsafe for people. Activists of the Crimean branch of the All-Russia People’s Front (ONF) who inspected the embankment together with journalists came to this conclusion, the organization’s press service informs.
Illegal dumps, bridges and tracks in disrepair, a lack of fences were recorded, fallen and dangerous trees were found during the inspection.
“It seems that nobody is engaged in the improvement of the central embankment of the republican center, and it is unsafe to walk along it at all, because mainly there are no fences and dangerous trees are going to fall on heads,” one of the activists Natalya Vizenkova said.
As a reminder, in early June, pavement broke down near the State Academic Musical Theatre of the Republic of Crimea in the center of Simferopol.
