As the Crimean Hydrometeorological Centre reports, there was two month’s rainfall in some areas in Crimea.
“There were 2.5 monthly norms of precipitation (102 mm) in Dzhankoy, 1.5 monthly norms of precipitation (24 mm) – in Simferopol, 1.5 monthly norms of precipitation – in Klepinino and 0.5 of the monthly norm of precipitation – on the Angarskyi Pass. There were very heavy rainfalls in these localities. But if it rains again now, the records will be even higher,” the head of the Centre Tatyana Lyubetskaya said.
In addition, it was hailing in some areas, and tornado was recorded in the north of the peninsula.
As a reminder, about 20 houses were flooded because of rain showers in Dzhankoy.
