44,233 passengers made use of services of the Simferopol airport for the period from May 1 till May 4. The Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) informs about that.
25,469 people arrived in Crimea and 18,764 people left. A total 322 flights were performed. Also it is reported that the airport served 131 flights and 16,511 passengers in the same period last year.
The Federal Air Transport Agency also reports that in January-April 2015, the passenger traffic of the Simferopol airport increased by 3.4 times – from 204,869 to 695,837 people as compared with the same period last year.
As a reminder, earlier the “Minister of Resorts and Tourism” of Crimea Elena Yurchenko reported that 78,500 tourists visited Crimea in the period from April 27 till May 4.
