Foreign banks do not perform exchange payments of citizens that are registered in Crimea. The Russian publication “Vedomosti” informs about that with the reference to a representative of one of the payment service provider.
If a bank sees in the SWIFT network that a person, who sent a payment, was registered in Crimea, it does not make it. Moreover, such payment is not accepted both in case it was sent from banks of Crimea and through banks of Russia.
The publication informs that the same is about payments of companies that are registered in Crimea.
