The Yalta city “administration” initiated a proposal to restart the activity of the McDonald’s restaurant. The “head” of the administration Andrey Rostenko stated that, the press-service informs.
“I hope that after all, the restaurant owner will find a way to realize interesting and promising projects here. I would like to make it happen by the beginning of the holiday season – the building shouldn’t be empty. In this regard we once again initiate the negotiation process with the owner,” Rostenko emphasized.
The official said that the building is leased, they don’t have rent arrears. However, according to Rostenko, he has been already addressed by “the businessmen and companies concerning possible purchase of this building but the owners are not ready to discuss this question.”
The McDonald’s company suspended the operation of its restaurants in Crimea after the annexation of the peninsula last April.
