According to the human rights activists, 20 houses of Crimeans have been searched for this period, UNIAN reports.

As the mission’s representatives found out, 5 buses, 10 police cars and 5 UAZ cars came to the village Zhuravki on April 2. People with guns, dogs and OMON were in every vehicle. According to the human rights activists, helicopters flew over the village.

“People and all cars were stopped to check documents. Locals speak of “differentiated approach” – Slavic people were exposed to the document check, Crimean Tatars sometimes were escorted to their houses and then the “inspection” was held there. Law enforcement officers came to some houses without witnesses. In this case, they just conducted the inspection without the search,” the Crimean field mission informed.

According to human rights activists, full searches were made in 10 houses that day. A similar situation occurred in the village Yaskrave Pole, where the searches of 10 houses were conducted as well since 9 am on April 3.
