The Center for Investigative Reporting informs about that.

The Ministry of Sports imposed an appropriate order on January 16, 2015, after the cyclists in sportswear with Ukrainian symbols were seen on the streets of the Crimean capital.

The document states that due to the end of the transition period in Crimea, the Ukrainian symbolism is not allowed to use in daily and training activities. “The Ministry” also requests “all employees and educatees of public institutions, organizations (including the non-governmental ones) and physical culture and sports enterprises to strictly respect the national symbols of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Crimea”.
