The Simferopol court decided to arrest the operator of the Crimean Tatar ATR channel Eksender Nebiev for a period of two months. His colleague Elvina Seitbullaeva informed about that on her Facebook page.
“The court decided that Eksender can allegedly escape and put pressure on witnesses. Now he is in a remand prison. It is difficult to imagine that such things are happening in Crimea now,” Elvina writes.
The Russian law enforcement officers detained Eksender Nebiev under the “case of February 26” – the meeting near the building of the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The operator’s house has been searched before the detention.
