The Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper reports about this.

According to journalists, the roof started to leak and then the ceiling fell off in the new building in two weeks after its opening. The parents have been informed that they would do all the repair work for their own money.

“On May 20, the part of the plasterboard ceiling fell off in the locker room of one of the groups. Then it was found out that sockets were also hanging down! All parents were informed that they would need to bring the money to make repairs. Different amounts of money are required in each group – from 500 to 1,000 rubles,” a mom of one of the children says.

According to local “authorities”, the kindergarten is in a good state, they just decided to secure the ceiling.

“The ceilings are not falling off there. We just decided to secure them once again in wind locations (in groups’ locker rooms – auth.) just in case. Our goal is to do everything possible to prevent the “small squares” (the plasterboard ceiling is made of them – auth.) from falling off and scaring children. As for the collection of money – this is absurd. Those who say about fund raising concoct these stories by themselves,” the Chairman of the District Council Aleksandr Petrov told the journalists.

The modular kindergarten ‘Rosinka’ was built under the federal target program for nearly 60 million rubles.

As a reminder, new houses built for relocatee families from emergency buildings in Bagerovo are ruined being in operation for less than a year.
