Man from Yalta set himself in fire to protest against the demolition of his cafe

In the morning of September 2, a pensioner from Yalta tried to set himself in fire as a mark of protest against the decision of local ‘authorities’ to demolish his cafe in the area of Primorsky beach.

According to the portal, the injured man got serious burns of different parts of the body and was taken to a hospital’s intensive care unit.

It is stated that the reason of the suicide was the decision of the Yalta ‘administration’ to demolish the cafe leased by the pensioner.

“The Yalta administration decided to demolish the cafe leased by the 75-year-old Aleksandr S. for a long time, but the entrepreneur was fully disagree with that,” the source reported to the Kryminform.

The entrepreneur earlier said that he was ready to take serious measures if his cafe was demolished.

As a reminder, there are about 600 illegal facilities mentioned to be demolished on the Crimean coast.
