Russia will provide the Black Sea Fleet with warships and submarines in 2015. The head of the information activities office of the Black Sea Fleet captain I rank Vyacheslav Trukhachev informed about that, the newspaper Sevastopolskaya Gazeta reports.
Thus, a patrol warship of 1135.6 Project “Admiral Grigorovich”, two new diesel-electric submarines of 636.3 Project “Novorossiysk” and “Rostov-na-Donu”, which are the first ones from the series of the six subsurface ships assigned for addressing problems in the Black Sea.
Also the Black Sea Fleet should be reinforced by two missile carrier ships “Zelenuy Dol” and “Serpukhov”, construction of which is being finished in the Zelenodolsk shipyard named after A. M. Gorkiy in Tatarstan.
In 2015 the Fleet will be provided with the rescue towboat of 22870 Project “Professor Nikolay Muru”.
