1,500 Crimean draftees will be sent to serve in the Russian army

It is planned to send 1,500 Crimean army draftees to serve in the Russian armed forces during the autumn drafting that occupation authorities hold in Crimea.

армия россии крымThe ‘military commissar’ of Crimea Anatoliy Maloletko announced that, the RIA Novosti reported. 

“We take almost the fourth place in terms of the number of drafted resources in the Southern Federal District,” he said and added that the Crimean would serve on the peninsula that year – in the Black Sea Navy Fleet and in the Military Space Forces. 

The autumn drafting of 2016 is held in the ‘Republic of Crimea’ in October-December. The Crimean men of 1989-1998 will be drafted into the army.

The Crimean draftees will be sent to other regions of Russia starting from the spring of 2017.
